Vega Oil and Gas Consulting worked with the Engineering Procurement Company to perform the engineering analyses and assist in developing specifications for relief devices and the system.
- Identified overpressure scenario analysis
- Quantified required relief rate for each applicable overpressure scenarios
- Developed global overpressure scenario analysis
- Proposed inlet and outlet piping limitations to meet API 520/521 criteria.
- Prepared PSV datasheets for procurement.
- Analyzed flare header design (sub-headers and header size / length)
- Performed knockout drum (KOD) sizing analysis
- Performed flare radiation analysis to determine placement of flare at the site.
